travel blog When is the best time to visit China?   Author: jane587   Questions? Tell us

    Best time to visit China?

    Spring: March - May

    Summer: June - August

    Fall: Sep - October

    Winter: November - February

China can be visited throughout the year because of the stretch of its territories, sites and activities it can offer. Generally speaking, From March to November, they are the peak tourist season of China's most popular destinations since the weather is the most comfortable, neither too hot nor too cold. On the other hand, From December to February, it is best time to ski on the northeast of China. International Ice and Snow Festival holds in Harbin every Jan.5th. From May to October, touring the Yangtze River, Shangri-la, Tibet best of all. We suggest that you'd come between January and February as Spring Festival (Lunar New Year) if you would like to experience convivial atmosphere. China's three "golden week" holidays, which include National Day (Oct.1-Oct.7), Labor Day (May.1-May.7) and the Lunar New Year (Lunar Calendar 1st-7th) the date will be change according to lunar calendar. They are the busiest time for hotels, airlines and travel agencies. Hotels and airlines would be overbooked. Therefore, the prices for hotels, air tickets and cruises are comparatively higher than the other seasons. Please contact with us by mail if you want to know something more information, we'll respond as soon as possible.
